They might also be asked to keep checking the patient’s weight, fever or blood pressure.

Cleaning rooms for patients, collecting and making files and assistance in doctors or nurses work is also a part of CNA job description. While working in nursing homes the CNA will be asked to take blood pressure and temperature.

They would have to help the patients with washing and toileting. Day to day care is also a part of CNA job description.

They would be asked to report to the nurse if a problem arises. They might be asked to bring in bedpans for the patients when it is needed.
